Recognition for outstanding efforts of both apartment communities and individual performances are celebrated by all of the region’s five apartment associations as the industry awards season is well under way. Each organization, including AAGP, NJAA, DAA, AACP and MMHA, produces a gala evening where formal ceremonies identify the best in the business in a myriad of categories. However, they also distinguish themselves with unique formats from the Call for Nominations in the spring, through the judging process and, ultimately, the climactic announcements of the winners. Though different in several ways, the common thread is the pure joy, excitement, true sense of pride and team spirit displayed by their members
